愛猫の爪切り

爪研ぎの事を、先日書きましたが
爪を研がれたままだと危ないので今日は爪切りについて書きますね。

爪切りなのですが、本来猫は爪切りなんてしませんよね。

完全室内飼い猫なら、爪切りをする事をオススメします。

爪研ぎをきちんとする（爪研ぎ素材でね）猫でしたら
被害がないって思ってるかもしれませんが
チョット待ってください。

猫は爪研ぎをしながら遊んでいる訳ではないですよね。

飼っている方なら分かりますが、遊んでいる時でも
獲物（おもちゃなど）襲う時はその場でフミフミしますよね。
アレって、日頃爪は研いでいるけど最終チェック！
みたいな気がしませんか？

私はそう感じています。（猫には聞けないですもんね( ；∀；)）

その時でも鋭ければカーペットなり床なりを痛めてる。

床を痛める1番の原因は

ターンする時が１番傷つきますね。
年季の入った使い他の場合、凄く傷が入ります。
（床の表面が硬くなっている為だと・・・）

なら、「どう切ればイイの？｝

これは、ペット用の爪切りを使う方がイイですが
我が家では、私の爪切りを使ってます(笑)

切る長さですが、あまり沢山切ると血管まで切ってしまうので
気を付けて下さい。

肉球をプニーって押すと、爪が出てきますので
先の方2～3mm位をパチンッ！
（爪を出してみて血管が無い所を切ってくださいね）

初めのうちは、音で逃げようとしますけど
仔猫のうちからやっていると、嫌がる事もありません。

我が家では２頭居ますので、ケンカした時でも切ってあると
安心ですね。
